Abstract

Dalam praktik berlangsungnya kegiatan wakaf di Indonesia, telah terjadi beberapa hal yang dapat diamati dalam praktik perwakafan yang terjadi di Indonesia. Salah satu hal yang dapat diamati ialah terkait pengabaian ikrar wakaf yang berlangsung terhadap obyek wakaf di Indonesia. Hal ini mencetuskan keinginan untuk meneliti lebih lanjut terkait fenomena ini sehingga diketahui penyebabnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis yang dielaborasikan dengan spesifikasi penelitian deskriptif analisis.  Teori Budaya Hukum menjadi mata pisau analisis dalam penelitian ini dengan teori tersebut didapati bahwa budaya hukum terkait akta ikrar wakaf belum melembaga di tengah masyarakat. Diharapkan PPAIW dapat memainkan peranan proaktif terkait fenomena ini.
