ABSTRAK
Lembaga Mukim lembaga resmi Pemerintah berada di bawah Camat dipimpin oleh seorang Imum Mukim. Imum Mukim memiliki fungsi dan kewenangan berdasarkan Qanun Nomor 4 Tahun 2003 Tentang Pemerintahan Mukim. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran dan kewenangan Imum Mukim serta hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan Pemerintahan gampong di Aceh. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan dan lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lembaga Mukim sangat berperan baik dalam pembangunan Pemerintahan Gampong. Hambatannya yaitu kurang pahamnya masyarakat terhadap pentingnya akan tugas dan kewenangan Imum Mukim dalam pembangunan Pemerintahan Gampong.
ABSTRACT
The Mukim Institution, the official government institution, is under the Camat led by an Imum Mukim. Imum Mukim has functions and authorities based on Qanun Number 4 of 2003 concerning Mukim Government. The research objective was to determine the role and authority of the Imum Mukim and the obstacles in the implementation of village governance development in Aceh. The research method uses literature and field research. The results showed that the Mukim institution was very good at developing Gampong Government. The obstacle is the lack of public understanding of the importance of the duties and authorities of the Imum Mukim in the development of the Gampong Government.
